Baptismal Services
Our next Baptismal Service
will be on
Sunday 29 January 2012
at 6.30pm
at Teddington Baptist Church (map)
It may sound odd but....
at our Baptismal Services
a Baptist gets wet all over!
We don't christen children.
We baptise adults by total immersion.
This takes place in baptismal pool at the front of our church.
The baptismal pool is like a small swimming pool and is usually
hidden under the platform at the front of the church. For a
Baptismal Service, it is opened up and filled with water.
The person to be baptised is dipped under the surface of the water
by one of our leaders - usually by the Minister.
So if you want to see a Baptist get wet all over
- and hear the person explain why -
come to one of our Baptismal services!

Wednesday Night is Church Night!
- Church Nights - there will be many opportunities to meet together in Homegroups to enable us to get to know one another better as we study God's word and pray together. We sometimes meet at the Church Centre.
- Church Meetings will be held usually on the third Wednesdays in January, March, May, July, September and November at 7.45 pm so we can PLAN our life together under the guidance of God. These meetings provide space to reflect on the life and work of our church. Nearer the time, please PRAY for the items on the agenda.
