How to find us
Teddington is in England! It is a leafy suburb of West London on the
River Thames between Richmond and Kingston, very close to Hampton Court
Palace, and only a few miles south-east of Heathrow Airport. Teddington
Baptist Church Centre is in Church Road, Teddington. It is about 100 yards
(100 metres) on the left up Church Road from the traffic lights at the
junction of Church Road and Broad Street. For more details see the
map of Teddington or the aerial photograph of Teddington. If you have Google Earth installed on your computer, then click here to find us.
BY TRAIN: Teddington Railway Station (on the loop line from Waterloo)
is only about six minutes walk away. Trains are usually at least every 30
minutes from Waterloo via Kingston. On Sundays there are trains to
Teddington via Kingston at 18 and 48 minutes past the hour (Winter 2004
timetable). The 9.48 am from Waterloo to Shepperton via Kingston will get
you to Teddington at 10.21 am just in time for the morning service. If you prefer
the evening, the 17.48 pm from Waterloo reaches Teddington at 18.21 pm in
time for the evening service. Extra trains travel from Waterloo via
Richmond and Strawberry Hill. See the SouthWest Trains website for more details.
Leave the station from the ticket office side, turn right and go along
Adelaide Road to Park Road. Turn right into Park Road, cross the zebra
crossing and go past the Police Station on your left. Bear left through
the Causeway and then straight across the Broad Street traffic lights into
Church Road. The Church Centre is 100 yards (100 metres) up Church Road on
the left.
BY BUS: The 33, R67, R68, 281 and 285 buses stop in Broad Street,
Teddington close to the traffic lights at the junction of Broad Street
and Church Road. The Church Centre is on the left, 100 yards (100
metres) up Church Road. Not all the buses are double deckers - and these
days some of them are yellow rather than red!
See the Transport for London website and its Teddington bus route information. |

rugby ground). You can reach it easily from the A316 which is the feeder
road for the M3 which runs to the south-west out of London. Turn south off
the A316 at one of the main junctions near Twickenham - Teddington will be
signed.
