September saw the launch of Rev Martin Hinton's 100-minute Bible, already
being referred to by some as 'Bible-lite'.
Hinton has sought to distil
the Bible's message, written down over many centuries and by many hands,
iinto a mere 57 pages.
Others have since taken up the challenge to distill
the message still further, into 100 words!

When being taught how to precis at Primary School, we were taught to read
the text in questionand make notes, and then sit on it to prevent cheating.
