What was today's BIG Top like?
Tuesday's BIG Top was just as exciting and full of wacky games, songs, and crafts as Monday. The GAUNTLET was certainly tense, as the person chosen to go in the GAUNTLET opted out, and chose Tom Chapman to go instead of him. However, Tom was lucky, and only got one second on the wheel. He was behind the curtains for longer than that though, I think the gungers were having fun getting him messy!!

Andrew Baker-Faulkner: "All of it was great. I like it when Luke makes jokes on stage"

Cameron Pit, aged 8: "I liked the gunge and I can't wait to be gunged!"

BIG Top Group News
The Talented Tumblers had all the action today. Marcus won a competition, and Tom got gunged in the GAUNTLET. They are also leading on points, equal with The Silly Stilt Walkers at 2500 points each.

BIG Top Round Up

The rest of The BIG Top was good as well. The band sang well, and the sound of the children singing was louder than the band at most times!

The video worked today, filming live and playing onto a big screen behind the presenters. However some people didn't realise where the image was being projected from, and made large shadows on the screen behind them!!

The drama continued, and the puppets were back as well. The video worked as well, and there were few technical problems.

Toys for Rumania
While the young children in The Marquee watched their video, the adults heard from Janet Dilley and Steph Wilkinson about the trip they made to Rumania last summer to help build a playground for children in an orphanage. We are now collecting toys which can be taken to Rumania by another group from Teddington Baptist Church this August. Please bring them to the Marquee any day this week.

Popularity
The Rock Café theme was "Popularity". Among the games played was "Who wants to be a millionaire" and "Shaving the balloon". After an extract from the film "Grease", The BIG Top Band played some popular hits, and The Rock Café certainly seemed to be Top of the Pops for the entire evening!
