AGM Reports by the Roads and Transport Group

Teddington Station - Fencing
In March 2010, Network Rail replaced the fencing alongside Teddington Station with fencing topped by barbed wire. The documents and photographs below document this change and the attempts by the Teddington Society and others to have it replaced by more appropriate fencing.
Teddington Railway Bridge Consultation
Richmond Council is consulting on proposals for remodelling the layout of the road junction where Waldegrave Road meets the High Street and the Causeway at Teddington Railway Bridge. These proposals, the accident statistics being used to justify the changes, and the Teddington Society Roads and Transport Group response to them are set out in the following documents. The consultation letter (which asked for responses by 5 October 2009) only went to residents in Teddington High Street and Waldegrave Road.
Teddington CPZ Consultations
At a Transport Consultative Group (TCG) meeting on Tuesday 3 February 2009, the Cabinet Member agreed to continue the CPZ with further consultation on some minor changes. Click to read the main Agenda Document with Results of the CPZ Consultation (48 Kb; pdf) and the Minutes of the meeting.

Other Parking Schemes
Bushy Park
A consultation was held (which closed on until 1 May 2009) by the Royal Parks on proposals to charge for car parking in Bushy Park (and Richmond Park) - see the Press Release and the The consultation document (153 Kb, pdf). The Friends of Bushy and Home Park issued their comments on this proposal - click to download (1072 Kb, pdf) - and asked people to write to The Royal Parks telling them what they think of the proposals by the closing date of the consultation (1 May 2009).
