Teddington in Flower 2008 Over £2000 was raised for local charities on Sunday June 8th when 7 gardens, The Library, Collis School and the Parish Church of St Mary with St Alban opened between 2pm-6pm. For details of the gardens open in 2008 click here. A cheque for £1,500 has been presented to the Chair of Teddington & Hampton Wick Voluntary Care Group with smaller amounts going to: Home Start Richmond from tea sales in the Churchyard; Collis School from their teas and plant sales to help maintain their Nature Trail; and to the Royal British Legion (Teddington Branch) from sales of teas & plants at the White Bungalow. Grateful thanks to everyone who took part - the gardeners, the weather, the gate sitters, the hundreds of visitors, not forgetting the Mayor, Cllr Helen Lee-Parsons, accompanied by Cllr Liz Jaeger visited all ten venues.
