Families and Children's Work

We have a very active work among families and young children. This work includes our work among younger children and their carers through Busy Bees and Open Door during the week, Who let the Dads out on Saturdays and our Sunday Groups for pre-school children.

BUSY BEES

Busy Bees is for children from age 2½ to school age. It normally meets on Tuesdays 10.00 am to 11.30 am (the same time as Open Door) and carers must be on site throughout. It only meets during normal school term-time.

OPEN DOOR

We have a parents'/carers' and toddler's group called Open Door which meets on Tuesdays in the church hall from 10.00 am to 11.30 am. This is for children under the age of 2½ years old. It only meets during normal school term-time.

SUNDAY MORNING CRECHE

For more information about the crèche and other provision for young children tel: (020)-8977 8000 or use the TBC Contact Points.

SUNDAY GROUPS

We have a number of different groups for children and young people which meet on Sunday mornings. They meet in the church at 10.30 am with the whole family before moving into their groups, according to age for teaching and worship. tel: (020)-8977 8000 or use the TBC Contact Points.

The Sunflower Cafe is a drop-in session for families and carers who are bringing up a young person who has a special educational need or disability. To come along your child or the child you care for doesn't have to have a formal diagnosis but just needs extra help to fulfil their potential. It meets at the church on selected Saturdays from 10 am-11.30 am.

Are you a dad or male carer with young children? Want to spend more time with the kids (0-7 years) and meet others like you? Bring your kids to play and do craft while you chat over tea or coffee and a hot dog. We meet every third Saturday in the church hall from 10.00 to 11.30 am. Download the list of dates here. No need to book, just turn up and we will welcome you warmly.

We are part of a national network of groups that is managed by the national charity Care for the Family. You can find out more, including a directory of other groups here.
